NON-ESSENTIAL STORAGE OR ACCESS TECHNOLOGIES ARE USED ONLY WHERE THE REQUIRED CONSENT OR ANOTHER APPLICABLE LEGAL CONDITION HAS BEEN SATISFIED. STRICTLY NECESSARY TECHNOLOGIES MAY OPERATE WITHOUT CONSENT WHERE THE LAW PERMITS.
Scope
This Notice applies to any technology that stores information on, or accesses information from, a user's browser, phone, computer or other terminal equipment.
Relevant technologies include cookies, local and session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, software development kits, link decoration, device identifiers and fingerprinting techniques.
Controller
Involvec Solutions Ltd is responsible for its use of storage and access technologies on the website. Privacy enquiries may be sent to privacy@involvecsolutions.com.
Strictly necessary technologies
Strictly necessary technologies support functions requested by the user or required for secure operation, including authentication, account sessions, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent choices, shopping-cart functions, checkout and customer dashboards.
Where the statutory conditions are met, these technologies may operate without consent because the requested service cannot be provided securely or correctly without them.
Functional technologies
Functional technologies remember optional preferences such as language, region, display choice, saved form values or interface customisation.
They are used with consent where required and where no statutory exception applies.
Analytics and performance technologies
Analytics and performance technologies help us understand navigation, referral source, errors, speed, device categories, page use and feature performance.
Where consent is required, those technologies are not activated until an affirmative choice is recorded. Where a statutory low-risk exception applies, we will meet its transparency, purpose, data-minimisation and opt-out conditions.
Marketing and attribution technologies
Marketing technologies may attribute campaigns, measure advertising, limit repeated advertisements or support audience selection where enabled.
They are not treated as strictly necessary and are used only where the consent required by law has been obtained.
First-party and third-party technologies
A first-party technology is set or controlled by our domain. A third-party technology is set or controlled by another provider whose service is embedded or integrated.
Providers may support authentication, hosting, payments, security, communications, support, analytics or embedded content. Current examples may include Supabase for authentication and data services and Stripe for payment checkout and fraud prevention.
Live inventory
The live cookie-preference interface, where displayed, is intended to identify the current category, purpose, provider and control status of relevant technologies.
Names and expiry periods controlled by third-party providers may change when those providers update their systems. The live inventory and browser developer tools should be consulted for current technical details.
Consent standard
Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and indicated by an unambiguous affirmative action. Silence, inactivity or continuing to browse is not treated as consent to non-essential technologies.
The interface must provide a genuine ability to reject non-essential categories and must not make refusal materially more difficult than acceptance.
Withdrawal and changes of preference
A user may change or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie-settings control. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Fresh consent may be requested where purposes, providers or technologies change materially or where consent is no longer sufficiently informed or current.
Duration
Session technologies generally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent technologies remain until the stated expiry, deletion by the user or withdrawal of the relevant permission.
We review duration and purpose periodically and should not retain a technology longer than reasonably necessary for its stated function.
Browser and device controls
Browsers and devices permit users to inspect, delete or block stored information. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent login, checkout, saved preferences, fraud controls and dashboard functions from operating correctly.
Relationship with personal data law
Where a storage or access technology processes personal data, the Privacy Notice and applicable data protection law also apply, including the requirements of fairness, transparency, lawful basis, minimisation, security and individual rights.
Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice when technologies, providers, legal requirements or website functions change. The effective date and version shown on the page identify the current published Notice.
